Survey Sent to By-Election Candidates in New Westminster–Coquitlam
On Tuesday, October 27th, a survey was sent to all candidates running in the New Westminster—Coquitlam by-election by Enough is Enough. Each candidate was asked to respond to various questions on how they would work to tackle crime if sent to Ottawa.
“This by-election is a great opportunity for the voters in New Westminster—Coquitlam to elect someone serious about cracking down on criminals and protecting law-abiding citizens,” said Keith Roy, spokesman for Enough is Enough. “Always an important issue I believe crime and justice will definitely play a role in how people vote here, and we want to know what each candidate will do to address this growing problem.”
Enough is Enough is a citizens group established to highlight the critical issue of crime in the Lower Mainland.
In the last provincial election, Enough is Enough endorsed 19 candidates from across the political spectrum. A brief survey was sent to each of the candidates in the New Westminster—Coquitlam by-election. The answers provided by the candidates will are key to determining who Enough is Enough will endorse in this by-election. The endorsed candidate will be provided with literature to distribute to members advertising the endorsement.
