METRO VANCOUVER — A police standoff outside Ravi Bar & Grill in Surrey this morning has come to an end.

Surrey RCMP Staff-Sgt. Bruce Anderson said officers responded at 5:40 a.m. to a report of three shots being fired at 72nd Ave. and 126th St.

Upon arrival, police found several men in the parking lot, who ran inside the restaurant. Police surrounded the business and negotiated for about three hours while the men stayed inside.

At about 9 a.m., all 14 individuals came outside. Anderson said no-one was hurt in the incident and no evidence of damage or shots being fired had been found thus far.

Anderson said police had been called to the Ravi Bar and Grill numerous times in the past but not for any serious incidents.
