Hamburgler strikes

Surrey Mounties are trying to track down a masked bandit who has been targeting drive-through windows late at night.

The suspect, wearing a cowl over his head, was caught in the act by the restaurant’s security camera and police have released two of the surveillance photos.

The incident took place near 96th Avenue and 160th Street just before midnight April 29.

The robber, who appears to be wearing socks over his hands as well, can be seen walking up to the drive through window and forcing his way to the cash register as an employee looks on.

Police say they haven’t been able to identify the suspect since the robbery and are asking for the public’s help.
