Enough is Enough endorses thirteen more candidates
May 8, 2009 - VANCOUVER - Enough is Enough, a citizen’s group dedicated to electing candidates who will take tough action against the criminal violence plaguing our streets, has endorsed thirteen candidates in the May 12th provincial election.
“We have endorsed more candidates who are the best choice to get tough on crime,” said Keith Roy, spokesperson for Enough is Enough. “We encourage all voters who are concerned about crime to vote for these candidates next Tuesday.”
The endorsed candidates are:
* Lee Rankin, BC Liberal, Burnaby-Edmonds: for his history of working for safer communities
* Helen Chang, BC Green, Burnaby-Lougheed: for her record of fighting for safe schools while on school board
* Dennis Marsden, BC Liberal, Coquitlam-Maillardville: he will get tough on crime as an MLA
* Marc McPherson, BC Conservative, Delta North: he will get tough on crime as an MLA
* Rich Coleman, BC Liberal, Fort Langley-Aldergrove: re-elect this tough on crime MLA
* Mary Polak, BC Liberal, Langley: re-elect this tough on crime MLA
* Carole Millar, BC Liberal, New Westminster: the best choice to defeat Dawn Black who was soft on crime as an MP.
* Kevin Falcon, BC Liberal, Surrey-Cloverdale: re-elect this tough on crime MLA
* Stephanie Cadieux, BC Liberal, Surrey-Panorama: she will get tough on crime as an MLA
* Mary McNeil, BC Liberal, Vancouver-False Creek: she will get tough on crime as an MLA
* James Young, BC NDP, Vancouver-Quilchena: the best choice to defeat the Finance Minister who cut prosecutors in the middle of a gang war
* Ralph Sultan, BC Liberal, West Vancouver-Capilano: re-elect this tough on crime MLA
* Joan McIntyre, BC Liberal, West Vancouver-Sea to Sky: re-elect this tough on crime MLA
Candidates were endorsed based on their response to a survey sent last week, their record as public figures or activists, and their statements. Endorsed candidates will be provided with an endorsement piece of literature that their campaigns can distribute.
Enough is Enough is mobilizing online and has launched a website www.enough-is-enough.ca for citizens to join our campaign and get the latest information. Enough is Enough is made up of citizens from across the Lower Mainland who want meaningful action on crime from our elected leaders.

You might have had some credibility had you not had Rich Coleman and Mary Polak on your list. Those 2 have interfered in municipal affairs and the school board and there are many in the Langley/Aldergrove/Fort Langley area that will not be forgetting it anytime soon.
We evaluated them solely on their credentials on crime. What they do in municipal affairs is not within the mandate of this group.
