Enough is Enough endorses four candidates in Surrey
May 9, 2009 - SURREY - Enough is Enough, a citizen’s group dedicated to electing candidates who will take tough action against the criminal violence plaguing our streets, has endorsed four candidates in Surrey in the May 12th provincial election.
“We have endorsed four candidates in Surrey who are the best choice to get tough on crime,” said Keith Roy, spokesperson for Enough is Enough. “We encourage all voters who are concerned about crime to vote for these candidates next Tuesday.”
The endorsed candidates in Surrey are:
* Trevor Loke, BC Green, Surrey-Newton: A young candidate who organised the Rally against gang violence in Surrey, he has done more than most elected politicians
*Jagmohan Singh , BC Liberal, Surrey-Fleetwood: he is passionate about getting tough on crime and will do a great job as an MLA
* Kevin Falcon, BC Liberal, Surrey-Cloverdale: re-elect this tough on crime MLA
* Stephanie Cadieux, BC Liberal, Surrey-Panorama: she will get tough on crime as an MLA
Candidates were endorsed based on their response to a survey sent last week, their record as public figures or activists, and their statements. Endorsed candidates will be provided with an endorsement piece of literature that their campaigns can distribute.
Enough is Enough is mobilizing online and has launched a website www.enough-is-enough.ca for citizens to join our campaign and get the latest information. Enough is Enough is made up of citizens from across the Lower Mainland who want meaningful action on crime from our elected leaders.
