Enough is Enough endorses Dilworth for Conservative nomination

July 20, 2009 - VANCOUVER - Enough is Enough, a citizen’s group dedicated to electing candidates who will take tough action against the criminal violence plaguing our streets, has endorsed Diana Dilworth in the New Westminster-Coquitlam Conservative nomination.

“We have endorsed Diana Dilworth because she is the best candidate to get tough on crime and support local police,” said Keith Roy, spokesperson for Enough is Enough. “We encourage all Conservative members who are concerned about crime to vote her at the nomination meeting on July 25th.”

Dilworth was endorsed based on their response to a survey sent last week, and her record as a public figure. As in the past endorsed candidates are provided with an endorsement piece of literature that their campaigns can distribute.

Diana Dilworth is a three-term Port Moody City Councillor running for the federal Conservative nomination in New Westminster-Coquitlam. The seat is currently vacant because Dawn Black ran in the recent provincial election, a by-election is expected soon.

Enough is Enough is mobilizing online and has launched a website www.enough-is-enough.ca for citizens to join our campaign and get the latest information. Enough is Enough is made up of citizens from across the Lower Mainland who want meaningful action on crime from our elected leaders. We endorsed 19 candidates across the Lower Mainland in the May12th Provincial Election.
