Enough is Enough endorses Conservative, Diana Dilworth, in by-election
November 2, 2009 - VANCOUVER - Enough is Enough, a non-partisan citizen’s group dedicated to electing candidates who will take tough action against the criminal gang violence plaguing our neighbourhoods, has endorsed Conservative Diana Dilworth in the New Westminster—Coquitlam federal by-election.
“Our decision to endorse Conservative Diana Dilworth has been based on a number of factors; her understanding of crime issues, her ideas to tackle crime and the record of the Conservative government all played a role in our decision,” said Keith Roy, spokesperson for Enough is Enough. “Come November 9th I hope all voters consider this important issue and vote for Diana to elect an MP serious about tackling crime.”
Dilworth was endorsed based on her responses to a survey sent last week, her record as a public figure and the decisive action taken by the Conservative government. As in the past endorsed candidates are provided with an endorsement piece of literature that their campaigns can distribute.
Diana Dilworth is a three-term Port Moody City Councillor running for the Conservatives in the New Westminster—Coquitlam by-election. The by-election was called after NDP MP Dawn Black resigned the seat.
